B.L.S. Instructors Course

Who should attend?

Individuals wishing to improve their knowledge and develop their skills in the field of basic life support and automated external defibrillation.

To hold an International recognised certificate in B.L.S. and A.E.D. (Training Site approved by the Irish Heart Foundation).

Duration

5 days

Participants who have completed this course will be able to:

1. Deliver a standardised BLS and AED course
2. Hold a valid Instructor Certificate for 2 years

• Paediatric Skills Evaluation
• Anatomy and Physiology
• Legal & Ethical Issues
• Stroke
• Administration Issues
• Special Resuscitation Situations
