Staff Fire Safety Course
The Staff Fire Safety training course is designed to raise awareness of fire hazards within the work environment and to provide participants with the knowledge to protect themselves. A maximum of 12 participants can take part.
What is the objective of our Staff Fire Safety Course?
On completion of our Staff Fire Safety Course participants will be able to:
• Understand the chemistry of fire
• Understand the difference between the various classes of fire extinguishers and their use
• Identify potential fire risks within their own work environment
• Use in a practical sense portable fire extinguishers on all classes of fire
• Understand the requirement for emergency procedures and the action to be taken in an emergency
• Conduct emergency evacuation drills with their own work environment

Our Staff Fire Safety Course content includes the following:

A practical demonstration of fire extinguishers is incorporated into the course where all participants get the opportunity to discharge a fire extinguisher.
What is the duration of our Staff Fire Safety Course?
Our Staff Fire Safety Course is a four-hour course.
Fire Warden/Fire Marshal Course
There is a legal requirement for employers to comply with the Fire Services Acts 1981 & 2003 including the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 and subsequent legislation.
Our 1 day Fire Warden/Fire Marshal Course course is delivered by competent individuals with many years experience.
What is the objective of our Fire Warden/Fire Marshal Course?
This Fire Warden/Fire Marshal Course will give participants the knowledge and skills to examine procedures, take corrective measures and ensure all procedures are followed which will allow staff evacuate safely.
Training Objectives: On completion of the program participants will be able to:
• Assist the set up, monitor and audit a fire safety programme
• Describe their legal obligations under current legislation
• Describe their fire responsibilities
• Describe the science of fire
• Describe how fire starts and spreads
• Identify fire hazards and understand how these are controlled
• Keep all required records

All participants will receive a certificate of attendance upon completion of the Fire Warden/Fire Marshal Course. A refresher course is recommended every 36 months.
