Safety Representative Course – 3 Days

The Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act, 2005 entitles employees to select at least one individual as a Safety Representative to represent employees on matters related to Health and Safety.

The Safety Representative course has been designed to ensure that all participants leave the course with the knowledge required to perform their function as a Safety Representative.

What is the objective of our Safety Representative Course?

On successful completion of the Safety Representative Course, participants will have knowledge of all the relevant legislation and be able to conduct their ‘Duties’ as prescribed in the legislation. Participants will also have an understanding of the importance conducting adequate hazard identification and risk assessments of the workplace and know how to conduct a Health and Safety Inspection and recommend remedial actions.
